President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance have announced a program that would reward tips leading to fraud charges.
The president’s second term has largely been about tackling illegal immigration and fraud, waste, and other government inefficiencies. To this end, Trump has announced a new program that is offering $30,000 bounties for information leading to fraud charges. For whistleblowers, the reward could include an extra 1% commission for any recovered funds.
Watch:
President Trump announced a new federal fraud whistleblower incentive program that he says will pay Americans, including journalists, a 1% commission for reporting fraud and corruption involving taxpayer dollars.
“If you turn somebody in and you, let’s say, report, and you find $1 billion, we are giving a commission to that person of 1%. It’s a lot of money,” Trump said.

“You could have stolen $2 trillion, or whatever the ultimate number is going to be, and at 1% people will make millions and millions of dollars for turning in what actually is a somewhat routine crime,” he said. “$100 billion, you get a 1% commission, and I think that will be amazing.”
Present at the Oval Office announcement was Nick Shirley, the investigative reporter who was launched into the spotlight after discovering the “Quality Learing Center” and subsequently highlighting what appears to be rampant fraud among childcare centers in Minnesota. His investigations have terrified blue states into taking action against him and anyone else seeking to expose potential corruption, including legislation like the “Stop Nick Shirley Act.”

JUST IN: Nick Shirley just dropped this line in the Oval Office flanked by President Trump, and it’s PURE GOLD
“I want people to think about what is happening right now…me as a 24-year-old, I went out and exposed the fraud. I just was concerned about the well-being of our tax dollars. And right now, I’m standing next to the President of the United States.”
“There’s never been an incentive for anyone to ever expose fraud [until now]…when you expose fraud, you help save America. People understand that these fraudsters take from the poor needy who actually need the services that we all work hard to pay for, and we take that, and they then buy Mercedes!” @nickshirleyy

“I want people to think about what is happening right now…me as a 24-year-old, I went out and exposed the fraud. I just was concerned about the well-being of our tax dollars. And right now, I’m standing next to the President of the United States, as now, people who expose fraud,” Shirley explained. “There’s never been an incentive for anyone to ever expose fraud. In fact, when I exposed fraud, instead of the mainstream media investigating the fraud, they investigated me. And people actually, in fact, wanted to kill me when I exposed the fraud.”
“But now, people finally have an incentive to go out and expose fraud. When you expose fraud, you help save America. People understand that these fraudsters take from the poor, needy who actually need the services that we all work hard to pay for, and we take that, and they then buy Mercedes!” he added.
“Over 99% of the fraud that we’re finding in the federal government isn’t covered by the False Claims Act,” Vance added during the announcement, adding, “our plan is not to limit this just to criminal prosecutions… if you find the money and you help us recover it, then you benefit from the program.”
