A representative for former Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson is addressing new memoir rumors.
According to The Sun, “Fergie” was mere “days away” from a deal regarding a tell-all that would spill the gory details about “ex Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, paedo Jeffrey Epstein, the King, Harry and Meghan.” The outlet claimed that “sources” said the book would settle her connection to Epstein, which had come back to bite her recently.
However, this account is now contradicted by the former Duchess’s own representative, who told Hello! Magazine that no such deal is in the works.
“There have been no discussions, and she is not writing a personal memoir; it’s not what she’s going to do,” the rep said.
But could it be in her best interest to tell her side of the story, now that Epstein is not around to contradict her account?
As BizPac Review reported in September 2025, Ferguson had to explain why she had apologized for distancing herself from the billionaire financier after he was convicted on child sex charges.
“I abhor pedophilia and any sexual abuse of children and know that this was a gigantic error of judgment on my behalf,” she said in 2011.
“I am just so contrite I cannot say,” she continued, vowing that she would “have nothing ever to do with Jeffrey Epstein ever again.”
Just seven weeks after this public display, it is revealed that she emailed Epstein to apologize for calling him out like that.
“I know you feel hellaciously let down by me from what you were either told or read, and I must humbly apologise to you and your heart for that,” she wrote, as reported by The Guardian. “You have always been a steadfast, generous, and supreme friend to me and my family.”
“As you know, I did not, absolutely not, say the ‘P word’ about you …,” her groveling apology continued.
Once this shocking exchange was revealed in the media, Ferguson was dropped by children’s hospice Julia House.
“Following the information shared this weekend on the Duchess of York’s correspondence with Jeffrey Epstein, Julia’s House has taken the decision that it would be inappropriate for her to continue as a patron of the charity,” the organization said in a statement.
A spokesperson for the former Duchess alleged that Epstein had threatened to “destroy her” in a “Hannibal Lecter-style” call, which was supposed to explain why she apologized.
“People don’t understand how terrible Epstein was,” spokesperson James Henderson said. “I can remember everything about that call. It was a chilling call, and I’m surprised anybody was ever friends with him, given the way he talked to me.”
“He said he would destroy the York family, and he was quite clear on that. He said he would destroy me. He wasn’t shouting. He had a Hannibal Lecter-type voice. It was very cold and calm and really menacing and nasty,” Henderson continued.
Given the rollercoaster of a story, and that Epstein is no longer around to menace her into silence, perhaps Ferguson should consider finally laying it all out for the public.
