The Dem-media narrative suggesting there’s been an uptick in racist “lynching” across the U.S. has taken another devastating hit.
Earlier this month, nearly 60 Democrat lawmakers capitalized on the tragic news that there had been recent reported hangings of 10 black people.
A letter sent by Dems to Attorney General Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel demanded a “thorough, transparent, and comprehensive federal investigation into the numerous incidents of Black people found hanging across the country.”
“Black folks are being found hanged in America,” Dem Rep. Ayanna Pressley proclaimed at the time. “This is a national crisis, and we CANNOT stand by while strange fruit hangs from trees across the country.
Fellow Squad member Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez parroted the narrative, but was reality-checked out of the gate:
This year, there have already been 10 reported hangings of Black people in the U.S.

As the community note on AOC’s post stated, all but one of the hangings were reported suicides. There was also an 11th hanging by suicide since the call for an investigation began.
An investigation into the outlier lynching would soon turn up two black male suspects in the alleged murder of Tasia Fortune.
But that hasn’t stopped the media from attempting to drum up racial division by leaving out important details to keep up the insinuation that white people executed the lynchings.

A few days later, police would arrest the second suspect, another black male, but that important fact, given the “racist” narrative and federal investigation, was conspicuously missing from most headlines:

As conservative podcast host Buck Sexton asked on X: “Both arrested suspects in this murder are black. Why does the AP list the race of the victim but not her killers in the title?”
