Converse apologized for ad likened to KKK, lynching imagery — critics have a darker theory about how it happened

The manufactured Converse controversy continues to get worse, with even more people buying into the racial hoax.

As previously reported, black people and pathetic liberals threw a fit after the American lifestyle brand Converse launched an ad featuring what they falsely claimed was “racist imagery.”

The ad simply showed K-Pop star Karina wearing a Chuck 70 classic high top while holding a pair of the shoes in her left hand.

Look:

Somehow, black people en masse saw someone being lynched in the ad above. How did they see that in such an innocuous ad? Well, many argue that when you center your entire life around grievances, it’s easy to see things that aren’t really there.

Democrats also fell for the hoax hook, line, and sinker.

“Nike and Converse, what the hell were you thinking?” Rep. Troy Carter, a black Democrat, whined in an angry social media post. “Your campaign shows what looks like a hooded Klansman, framed by what appears to be the dangling feet of a lynching victim.”

“There is nothing creative or artistic about it,” he continued, raging. “It is racist, reckless and deeply offensive.”

Sadly, Converse decided to bow down to the mob instead of standing tall.

“We’re sorry,” the extremely pathetic company said in a statement. “We understand why this image is deeply upsetting and recognize that we got this wrong. We removed it from our channels and are working to remove it everywhere it appeared. This should not have happened, and we will do better.”

Yet even after bowing to the idiot mob, Converse continues to be attacked, including by CBS News:

In the absolutely ridiculous “news report” above, CBS News suggested that Converse purposefully made its non-racist ad look racist to race-obsessed black people as a marketing strategy. Yeah, sure thing …

“Critics are saying that perhaps Converse shared the ad intentionally almost knowing that it would get attention and rage bait people,” the supposed reporter in the video above said.

“CBS News spoke to Nadine Smith,” the woman continued. “She is the CEO of Color of Change, which is a racial justice organization. She said that it’s a strategy in this attention economy to share these kind of controversial images.”

FYI, Color of Change is a veritable leftist hate group with a history of pressuring credit card companies to cut off right-wingers from their services.

“Color of Change” is also at least partly responsible for the cancellation of the popular show “COPS,” which the group claimed dehumanized, you know, black thieves, rapists, murderers, and other heroes of the community.

CBS conveniently neglected to mention any of this.

The network moved on to quoting another race-obsessed “expert.”

“So another expert, Marcus Collins, who works for the Michigan Roth School of Business, says that he doesn’t think Converse’s marketing team did this to cause offense, but intention does matter, and he thinks that the brand’s apology was not equal to the amount of anguish people responded to the ad with,” the woman in the video said.

Yes, the “anguish” caused by a fake controversy ginned up by race-obsessed weirdos who still think they’re living in the 1860s. Sure thing …

Suffice it to say, CBS News is being ripped a new one on X.
