Spencer Pratt unloads after hijab-clad Hochul visits Islamic center: ‘What are we doing?’

Mere days before a solemn anniversary, New York’s “feminist” governor proved willing to “subjugate” herself, earning scorn and condemnation for a viral video “bowing to the third world.”

The party of identity politics, known for language games, has seen the likes of New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) self-identify as a Catholic while pushing abortion and gender ideology — even on religious sisters. Now, as New York City prepares for the 25th anniversary of September 11, the leftist is facing new backlash from figures and groups on the right after viral video captured her donning a hijab while speaking in front of Muslim men.

Viewed roughly 7 million times in less than 24 hours after being posted by the End Wokeness account on X, Hochul can be heard thanking those at the Islamic Cultural Center of New York under the caption, “‘Feminist icon’ NY Governor Hochul just put on a hijab for Muslim men.”

Joining in highlighting the absurdity, former Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt shared the video with the comment, “Feminist icon, Kathy Hochul. Slay, kween!”

According to the a Facebook post from the Islamic Cultural Center School, the governor joined the ICCNY for midday prayer service on Friday before touring the facility “and learned more about the community we are so proud to serve.”

“Her visit was a meaningful recognition of the roll ICCS plays in New York as a community partner serving and bringing together New Yorkers from across our diverse city and state,” continued the post that did not include pictures of Hochul with her head covered. “We are grateful to Governor Hochul for spending time with our community and for her continued commitment to ensuring that every New Yorker feels safe, respected, and supported.”

On that note, as New Yorkers prepare to mark 25 years since Islamic terrorists attacked, using planes to successfully strike the World Trade Center and Pentagon — taking the lives of 2,977 people and counting — it’s worth remembering that as Gotham got a new executive in Islamunist Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D), Hochul celebrated a declared Muslim American Heritage Month by lighting up landmarks green, including One World Trade Center.

Meanwhile, as the governor found her name alongside Mamdani in calls to be barred from the September 11 memorial, it was only days earlier that a convert to Islam was arrested by the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force for allegedly plotting an ISIS-inspired attack on the New York State Capitol.

Pratt was hardly alone in torching Hochul as the New York Young Republican Club wrote,”Kathy Hochul is being her typical self: bowing to the third world at the Islamic Cultural Center of NYC. NYYRC can exclusively reveal *which* third-world country: the mosque she is speaking at was almost entirely funded by Kuwait. Foreign countries are meddling in our affairs and our governor is happy to let them.”

Likewise, as other sounded off, Texas Rep. Brandon Gill (R) pointed out the performative absurdity of the left with a nod to Margaret Atwood’s dystopian tale said to be inspired by Islam, “Democrats: ‘Sexist Republicans are turning America into the Handmaid’s Tale!’ Also Democrats:”
