Three more FEMA workers get the boot for ignoring MAGA hurricane victims

Left-wing intolerance plays out in every aspect of life in the United States, to include the administration of emergency services during dire times.

Three FEMA workers have been fired after an inspector general report found crews skipped homes displaying pro-Trump signs while responding to Hurricane Milton in Florida in 2024, according to Fox News.

Citing a DHS internal investigation, the network said it was determined that the employees “failed to meet FEMA’s standards of conduct,” with the terminations coming “on top of other personnel actions following the report.”

“What happened under the Biden Administration was unacceptable. Under President Trump, political bias has no place at FEMA,” said FEMA Administrator Cameron Hamilton. “Thanks to President Trump, FEMA has been empowered to hold accountable those who are responsible and has changed how it conducts survivor outreach to ensure Americans are treated fairly and assistance is driven by need. Under my watch, all parties involved in this situation have been held accountable. Political bias has no room in public service.”

FEMA supervisor Marn’i Washington was fired in November 2024 for instructing personnel to avoid homes with Trump signage in Lake Placid, Florida. Washington claimed that she was trying to protect workers from potentially hostile encounters.

“Our job is to protect the American people, regardless of their political beliefs. This is especially important when it comes to disaster relief, where every second counts and lives are on the line,” DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin said.

“The blatant abuse of power seen at FEMA under the Biden Administration was unacceptable, inhumane, and un-American,” Mullin continued. “We’ve made sure that everyone responsible for this incident has been punished, and we’ll make sure that nothing like this ever happens again. The Trump Administration will always put the safety of the American people first.”

Social media users were in agreement that political alignment should play no role when it comes to disaster relief — here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
