New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, considered by many to be a communist, is under fire for mourning the death of a ruthless murderer.

The 39-year-old murderer, Clarence Woodward, was charged with stabbing two men inside a laundromat in the Bronx earlier this month with a meat cleaver after he was seen on surveillance footage committing the crimes.

“Woodward was spotted carrying shirts as he walked into the 303 Laundromat at 2:42 a.m. Thursday in the Claremont section,” according to local station WABC. “Once inside he stabbed two men and ran off southbound on College Avenue.”

“A 47-year-old man was stabbed in the back. He was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition. Another man was stabbed in the legs, torso, and back. He was pronounced dead at Lincoln Hospital,” the reporting continued.

The surviving victim, a homeless man, told the police he was sleeping inside the laundromat when the unprovoked attack occurred.

The deceased victim was identified as Jose Miranda, 45. His grieving mother was mortified by his murder.

“God has given me the strength but it is not easy,” she said in a video message uploaded to Facebook, according to the New York Daily News.

Mamdani meanwhile never said or wrote a word — a single word — about Miranda. Yet after Woodward died from a medical emergency this Tuesday morning, the mayor suddenly had plenty to say.

“I am deeply saddened by the death of a New Yorker in City custody at a jail on Rikers Island early this morning,” the mayor tweeted later that very same day. “My thoughts are with his family and loved ones as they grieve this loss. We do not yet know the cause of death, but we do know that too many New Yorkers have died on Rikers Island.”

“The Department of Correction and its oversight partners will investigate the circumstances surrounding his death. Our administration is fully committed to the critical work of creating better conditions in our city’s jail system and closing Rikers Island as quickly as possible,” he added.

Critics were utterly disgusted by the communist mayor’s twisted and perverse priorities.

“Why? Why do this? Is it pathological?” one critic asked. “Why are you so concerned over a 30x wrap sheet individual and not the victims? You could have taken the angle that the system is designed to protect the innocent until proven guilty. Instead you all but fangurled the inmate.”

“The only shame of it is that this monster wasn’t put to death in the town square for all to see,” another critic wrote. “You can not help but reveal what an absolute clown you are, day in and day out. It’s an amazing thing to witness in real time. Generations down the road won’t believe it’s real.”

Miranda’s mother was also disgusted by the tweet. She told the New York Post that the tweet was “a slap in the face.”

“It’s terrible. That’s not fair. That’s not fair at all. I’m not happy with what [Mamdani] did and I need him talking about my son. He was killed,” she continued.

“That’s not right,” Miranda’s younger brother added. “He could have paid his regards but acknowledged us too. He should have mentioned us first and then, ‘Sorry the person that did it also has passed away too.’ At least give us a little heads up and a little gratuity towards us. We lost a family member. You can never replace that. I’m still going through it.”
