I first visited Kyiv Pechersk Lavra in 2015. You can read about the visit here, where I walked the catacombs among the bodies of the Orthodox Christian saints. Looking back, the article wears the innocence of a tourist; I didn’t know as much about Ukraine as I do now, having lived there essentially during multiple follow-on visits in the last decade plus.
I also know Laura Loomer, having worked in the same location with her on multiple stories over the years, including a trip to Los Angeles with Secretary of War Pete Hegseth as part of the Pentagon Press Corps on the ‘Doomsday Plane’.
I honestly didn’t think Laura would stoop this low — to support the Zelenskiy regime’s claim they are protecting Christianity.
Let’s be clear right up front — no one has done more to harm the Christian faith in Ukraine than Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

And don’t believe our coverage at CDM? How about a Jewish attorney out of London who is counsel for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church — Robert Amsterdam. You can see one of my earlier interviews with him at the bottom of this article. His truth is brutal for Zelenskiy.
And just to vouch for our bonafides on the subject, CDM brought sources to speak with U.S. House Oversight Committee attorneys on the Ukrainian issue in 2023.
We have been working to end the Ukraine conflict since the invasion in 2022. I was in Kyiv at the time, and ended up dodging Russian attack vectors to walk across the Moldovan border on foot to leave the country. I’ve been to the forward line of troops in Donbass as well.
We produce a Ukraine SitRep podcast every week to detail what is going on in Donbass and beyond. There truly is no other coverage like it in the Western journalistic world.
In short, Zelenskiy has worked hard to destroy the Ukrainian Orthodox Church that millions of Ukrainians called their faith home, had weddings, christened their children, and buried their family members, in favor of a state-run Orthodox Church of Ukraine in a very CCP-inspired direcitve.
Priests have been beaten and jailed, parishioners threatened, churches stolen, broken into and burned. All this is happening while Zelenskiy refuses to make peace and the war continues, slaughtering 50,000 mostly white Christian men in the region monthly. It is in our view a satanic ritual.
Zelenskiy has even desecrated the catacombs of the Pechersk Lavra and removed the priests from the ancient monastery.
For Zelenkisy to act like he cares about Ukraine, its Christians, or even humanity is a disgusting lie.

Some Ukrainian journalists had a field day.
It gets worse.
Loomer also seems to be giving cover to the Ukrainian Nazi movement who are still marauding through the Donbass countryside and committing fascist acts of violence.
It is speculated Loomer did all of this for a whole lot of money. I have no proof of that and am not accusing her of that.
What I am accusing her of is at the very least extremely bad, uninformed judgement, at worst the enablement of a truly disgusting regime. As CDM works to unite Christian communities around the world in the face of global, coordinated attacks on the faith, and its people, especially in Ukraine and the Middle East, Loomer just made that quest a whole lot harder.
I resent her for that and she should be called out for it.
