In our tour of those unhinged in America and facing charges, we now travel to the bright lights of Las Vegas, NV.

NEVADA

Last month, we learned about a man allegedly threating to kill President Trump on a viral social media video. (See a clip in the news report below.)

The man is also accused of threatening a suicide bombing.

As reported by 8 News Now (Las Vegas), his jury trial is set to begin November 30.

OSWEGO, NEW YORK

Meanwhile at the summer resort of Oswego, NY on Lake Ontario, an area newspaper website reported last month: “A man in the city of Oswego repeatedly threatened to kill President Donald Trump and his family in a series of posts on the social media platform X, Oswego police said.”

With so many threats against Trump across the US and beyond, this incident doesn’t seem to have produced a TV news video or even additional reporting…

BINGHAMTON, NEW YORK

According to the U. S Attorney’s Office, “Jeffrey Scott Hamm, Jr., age 32, of Binghamton, NY appeared in federal court Friday, February 27, for an initial appearance on a charge of making threats to the President and federal agents using interstate communications.”

“The Complaint alleges that on multiple dates in January, 2026, Hamm posted comments on YouTube threatening violence against the President, unnamed ICE agents, and supporters of the President.”

PENNSYLVANIA

South of the border in western Pennsylvania, a man from Butler, north of Pittsburgh, pleaded guilty to threatening to kill President Trump, his administration, and ICE agents.

According to the U. S Attorney’s Office, “Shawn Monper, 33, pleaded guilty before United States District Judge W. Scott Hardy to two counts of threatening to assault and murder United States officials and federal law enforcement officers with the intent to impede, intimidate, interfere with, and retaliate against the officials and agents while they were engaged in, and on account of, the performance of official duties. As part of his plea agreement, Monper also accepted responsibility for the other counts for which he was charged.”

Monper posted his threats on YouTube. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
