The latest in judicial activism found a Biden-appointed judge seemingly declaring the country “belongs to any random alien on planet earth” after blocking an executive order.

“We have foreign judges telling us we can’t secure our elections … What are we even doing?”

Election integrity has arguably proven to be the best representation of Congress’s abysmal favorability rating. But the Senate’s inability to pass the SAVE America Act despite overwhelming bipartisan support isn’t the only problem, as U.S. District Judge Sparkle Sooknanan struck down an executive order from President Donald Trump claiming rights have been “trampled” and citizens have been removed from voter rolls.

Following a March order from the president that sought to team the Social Security Administration and Department of Homeland Security in compiling a database of eligible voters to work toward cleaning up rolls, the League of Women Voters filed suit. Monday, the Trinidadian and Tobagonian-born Sooknanan blocked the order, deeming it unlawful, as White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller reacted, “Judge Sparkle decrees that America belongs to any random alien on planet earth, just like our founders intended.”

Within her opinion, the judge argued that following the creation of a State Citizenship List, “states have partnered with the federal government to access the database and are actively removing United States citizens from voter rolls based on inaccurate information.”

“All in all, the federal government has knowingly trampled on the privacy rights of American citizens in a manner that threatens the sacred right to vote. This Court cannot stand idly by while that happens,” she went on.

In her view, the order that relies on naturalization records and Systemic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) data to in part restrict delivery of mail-in ballots exclusively to approved voters violates the Administrative Procedure Act, Privacy Act, and Social Security Act.

Sooknanan’s ruling comes amid the broader fight on election integrity that has found RINOs in the Senate failing to take the steps necessary to use congressional rules in their favor to pass the SAVE America Act, thus ensuring only American citizens are authorized to register to vote in federal elections.

Raising that perspective, DHS general counsel James Percival posted to X, “It’s amazing how hard the Left will fight to stop us from solving problems they insist do not exist. Judge Sparkle Soknanan’s [sic] latest ruling preventing DHS from addressing alien voting is just the latest example.”

He wasn’t alone as Utah Sen. Mike Lee (R) — an unrelenting voice in favor of the SAVE America Act — likewise opined, “Judge Sparkle Sooknanan worries about citizens being removed from voter rolls. But instead of requiring safeguards or heightened review, she shut down the expanded SAVE database used by states to check their rolls for noncitizens.”

“That’s not protecting voters,” insisted the senator. “It’s weakening election integrity. Time to appeal this ruling (or perhaps seek an extraordinary writ of mandamus)–and pass the SAVE America Act.”

Meanwhile, other voices decried the judicial activism, particularly as the block against the president was coming from a judge who hadn’t even been in America a full decade.
