As a three-day-a-week gym guy, I sometimes mix it up with home cardio for an hour at a ago on my stationary bike.

Apart from watching documentaries and films to fight the boredom, I’ve watched tens of road trip videos at 6-8x speed and see varied geography across the globe.

One of the best in this genre is Barbiepoledancer, interestingly racing across America, into Mexico, and up to Alaska.

I’ve literally been visually escorted across the country by her from the apparent center of the world, Las Vegas, to Philadelphia; from Las Vegas to Key West, Florida; from Milwaukee to Seattle; and from there, up through western Canada– a long trip– to Anchorage and Fairbanks.

One of the first videos I watched was B racing along was into the desert in Nevada, with a fascinating landscape, and the interesting central oasis town of Austin, Nevada at the midway point.

B gets the video speed right, not too slow or too fast. With no distracting talking, you get a consistent view through her dashcam. Her sometimes music compilations accompanying the road trip videos can be entertaining too, but I often supplement them with my own music.
