It has gotten so bad that even superwoke LA officials are taking action, presumably.
Last month, ABC7 TV news (Los Angeles) reported that the LAPD was stepping up patrol to combat prostitution near homes and schools.
In January, one resident said he sometimes wakes up to a barely clothed woman walking across the street in his neighborhood filled with million-dollar homes. Then there are the used condoms, etc., left on the ground.
“You can’t imagine how disgusting it is,” remarked one high-tax paying resident.
A policeman on this beat, Officer Daniel Chavez, gave a tour of the prostitution zone to ABC7. Most prostitutes are between 18 and 23 years old, but some are under this age.
The youngest found working as a prostitute was 11.
Captain Rachel Rodriguez said, “One of the things I promised our neighborhoods, we’re going to make sure our kids have a safe passage to school.”
“I wish I had more officers,” she added.
