After publicly and forcefully being against the start of the recent war with Iran, I directed our CDM network to advocate for a good outcome for the United States. In other words, we were against getting involved in another Middle East war, but we refused to join the cacophony of voices dreaming of an American defeat. That would not be a good outcome for our children, our country, or even the world was our reasoning.

So, we did our best during the last few months to report responsibly on what was happening on a daily basis. We did NOT join the vast army of coordinated ‘Anti-Trump’ forces which savaged the President and his staff regularly [you know who you are, and so does everyone else]. We did not join the chorus of pro-Iran forces.

Simply, we remained truly ‘America First’.

Therefore, we find it disturbing that the pee wee chorus is now chiming in together to savage the President for ending the war, on terms that are good for America, and the world.

It seems reasonable to view the deal as delaying any Iranian effort to join the nuclear club for at least a decade or two. With the JCPOA, Iran was well on its way to getting the bomb. Achieving that delay was Trump’s stated number one goal.

To be clear, his goal was NEVER another protracted conflict in the Middle East, sucking up vast amounts of American blood and treasure.

That cannot be said for those now pushing the narrative ‘Trump was defeated’.

It’s obvious the ‘Trump lost’ narrative is being enabled by entities who now have a lot to fear from a refocused Trump administration on confronting the deep state and winning the midterms.

It’s also a very good chance to see with clarity who are on the side of main street America and those whose loyalties lie elsewhere.

For instance, the Wall Street Journal writes, “President Trump is touting his latest cease-fire deal with Iran as peace in our time, but the world is more likely to see it as a strategic retreat short of achieving his war aims. To reopen the Strait of Hormuz, Mr. Trump is accepting Iran’s promises merely to negotiate over its nuclear program.”

“But there’s no denying that Mr. Trump is retreating from his main goals as political pressure has built at home and finishing the job requires greater military risk. Despite Israel’s urging, he never authorized a mission to seize Iran’s enriched uranium. He never tried to reopen the Strait of Hormuz by force.”

Begs the question – who runs American foreign policy again?

We take the President at his word – this deal will be good for America, good for our children, and good for the world.

As a Dad, I don’t have to worry about relatives being deployed into the sandbox, once again. How about we deploy them to the next AntiFa riot instead?

I can’t wait for the ‘golden age’…bring it on!
