UPDATE: Yesterday, Trump revealed the U.S. has been ‘taking oil’ from Kharg Island covertly and escorting tankers through the Gulf. It was also recently reported that elements of the 82nd Airborne had deployed to Israel for possible deployment to the Gulf region.

Trump this morning on his Truth Social account said the United States would soon be seizing Kharg Island and other infrastructure control points in Iran to ‘assume control of their Oil and Gas markets.’

This means American forces will be landing on the ground in Iran, and be exposed to enemy fire.

This war has just escalated to a new phase.

Trump is taking a huge gamble that he can prevent widespread casualties.
