The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool renovation is now complete, and the White House announced Thursday evening that the water is on and the pool is beginning to fill with water.
“The water is ON, the Reflecting Pool is reflecting, and D.C. is looking better than ever. We are so back. THANK YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP,” read an official X post.

The reflecting pool, which sits between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument, was originally built in the 1920s. It is one of the most iconic sites in D.C., and is the site of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech.
The project is part of ongoing efforts by President Donald Trump to beautify Washington ahead of America’s 250th birthday next month. However, because Trump is president, the left has been in an uproar even though, on the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool alone, Trump has saved taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars.
It’s Trump Derangement Syndrome running amok, and the president played on that sad phenomenon by posting a brilliant meme of the reflecting pool being filled with liberal tears.
