Border Patrol descends on docked Disney ship, arrests multiple workers in child porn sting

Disney cruise passengers were shocked when Border Patrol agents descended on the docked ship to arrest multiple workers.

The arrests went down in San Diego last month as passengers were departing and witnessed several workers being cuffed, The New York Post reported.

The crewmembers were reportedly arrested for allegedly distributing child porn. Trending Politics co-owner Collin Rugg reported that CBP arrested “28 workers on 5 different vessels, 26 from the Philippines, 1 from Portugal, and 1 from Indonesia, were arrested for either the ‘receipt, possession, transportation, distribution, or viewing of CSEM or child p*rnography.’” (NYP)

Union del Barrio, a local immigration advocacy group, denounced the arrests.

“It is our responsibility as a society, as working people, to really denounce these actions by Customs and Border Protection, by and [ICE], and the prolonged detention of migrant workers, whether it be here in our own community as well as those that work on ships,” the group said, according to Rugg.

Disney responded with its own statement, although not all the employees arrested worked for Disney.

“We have a zero-tolerance policy for this type of behavior and fully cooperated with law enforcement.”

X users responded to the news with disgust and outrage:

Media Research Center’s Brittany Hughes blasted the media’s highly misleading coverage of the arrests, and framed the workers as innocent victims, not suspected child predators.
