Virginia State Senator Louise Lucas was very active in promoting cannabis and re-districting Republicans out of four House Seats in Virginia.
Virginia used to be a Deep Red State in 2008 and has become a Blue State while cannabis legalization and sales overseen by the State has had bi-partisan support.
Is there a coincidence between Blue election victory trendlines and cannabis expansion in Virginia?

I have said this in numerous speaking appearances. There is nothing good that comes out of this insane drive to legalize cannabis.
If you are fighting for Election Integrity and MAGA, you cannot support the expansion of cannabis sales overseen by State Governments.
The response was always the same when I’m speaking to MAGA audiences.
Someone in the audience always had an Aunt Sally who needed cannabis to help her through her chemotherapy.
There are other things that can help Aunt Sally. Besides – cannabis use leads to higher levels of paranoia, psychosis, and mental health issues.
In Virginia, and other states, cannabis sales are essentially a cash operation because of Federal Laws against the banking of proceeds from cannabis.
When a line of business has lots of cash – it is a magnet for those who want to launder the cash into other activities.
