Video captured the heart-stopping moment a bakery worker’s truck was clipped by an airplane in New Jersey.

United Airlines flight 169 was landing at Newark International Airport from Venice, Italy, when its landing gear reportedly smashed into the driver’s window on the New Jersey Turnpike Sunday afternoon. Video from inside the truck shows the driver enjoying his weekend drive before realizing something was terribly wrong.

Miraculously, the driver only sustained minor injuries and was treated for them at the hospital.

Speaking to KOMO News, Chuck Paterakis, the senior vice president of Transportation & Logistics and co-principal at H&S Bakery, revealed that the trailer was completely unharmed by the collision.

“To me, that everybody on that plane, everybody and the driver, God was looking after them, there’s no doubt. If we did that scenario again, I don’t know if anybody could’ve survived that,” he said.

“According to Paterakis, the plane was preparing to land in Newark when the incident took place. United Airlines Flight 169 struck a light pole on the New Jersey Turnpike while returning from Venice, Italy,” the outlet reported.
