Acosta fearful ‘MAGA state TV emerging in America,’ calls on CNN to purge Scott Jennings

Narrative-spinning found Jim Acosta setting his sights on the employment of a conservative commentator after dubbing the latest outmanned appearance on CNN “MAGA state TV.”

In recent weeks, Acosta has griped and grumbled about the ongoing effort by Paramount Skydance to complete a purchase of Warner Bros. Discovery, the parent company of his former employer, CNN. Now, as Democrats are working overtime to deflect from their incessant violent rhetoric after yet another attempt on President Donald Trump’s life, Acosta renewed his calls for the firing of Scott Jennings after the political analyst used a four-letter word to tell another commentator what to do with his hands.

“It’s appalling and it’s a fireable offense,” insisted Acosta on his “The Jim Acosta Show” podcast. “I think he should be fired. I’ve been saying for some time he should be fired. And, you know, it’s not even pro wrestling. It’s low-rent Jerry Springer stuff. And he really should be tossed out today. They should just hand him his boxes today and tell him to get the hell out.”

“But, the reason I bring this up, Steve, is that this is the way things work in MAGA state TV. This is the MAGA state TV world that is emerging in America where people like Scott Jennings has been getting away with this crap for way too long,” he continued.

The assertion that Jennings was a “MAGA blowhard” came as Acosta had played a clip of the conservative going toe-to-toe with MeidasTouch commentator Adam Mockler, who’d contended Jennings was “making condescending remarks because you can’t defend the fact that this war is not going your way.”

Amid the pontificating, the waving hands of Mockler had crossed a line, leading Jennings to point his finger as he demanded, “Get your f*cking hand out of my face, first of all!”

Acosta’s quixotic agenda against a corporate media landscape potentially shifting toward moderate coverage previously found him offering testimony to California Sen. Adam Schiff (D) at a hearing in the once-Golden State, where he’d argued “partisan hacks” could have a “chilling effect” on CNN in a fashion similar to the perceived changes at CBS News.

Likewise, the former CNN talking head had reacted to comments by Federal Communications Commission Chair Brendan Carr about Trump challenging “fake news media and … winning” by contending, “Trump’s media henchman doesn’t realize this but what millions of people take away from this is that they SHOULD watch PBS and listen to NPR and turn on independent media. Americans don’t like the government telling them what they can and cannot watch.”

Regarding his latest lamentations with renewed calls for Jennings’ termination, social media users sounded off about Acosta’s evident one-sided take on freedom of speech and his seemingly apparent saltiness about “someone he disagrees with” enjoying continued employment at CNN.
