A missing Oklahoma State Senate candidate was found dead Thursday inside his truck by a ravine near a wildlife management area.
According to a Facebook post from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI), they recently received a request from the Sayre Police Department to investigate the disappearance of candidate Barry Christian, 54, who was last seen on Tuesday in Sayre.
Early Thursday morning, around 9:45 am, Christian’s truck was found by Beckham County deputies in the Sandy Sanders Wildlife Management Area, prompting OSBI to go out and investigate.
Upon processing the scene, OSBI investigators found Christian’s body in the truck. The body was subsequently shipped off to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause and manner of death.

Christian’s family has since released a statement to local station KOMO.
“Please pray for our family and friends,” the statement reads. “Our world is upside down right now. We are still not sure of everything that happened, so please act with grace and treat my dad’s legacy with dignity.”
‘We are extremely grateful to everyone who assisted in the search efforts and all of the media outlets that shared his information. I know there will be lots of people devastated by his passing,” it continues.
Christian was a Republican candidate for state Senate District 38. He last posted to social media (namely, Facebook) on Saturday to ask his constituents to attend an upcoming meeting.
“Join us for a spirited community gathering at the Mangum Oklahoma Rattlesnake Festival, where neighbors, families, and local supporters come together to celebrate wildlife, culture, and the enduring spirit of District 38,” he wrote in the third person.
“Our State Senate candidate for District 38 invites you to a friendly meet-and-greet to discuss issues that matter most to our community. Wildlife conservation and outdoor recreation to rural economy and public safety,” he added.
He was reportedly pro-Trump.
For some reason, perhaps the recent assassination attempt on President Donald Trump, a stunning number of people believe Christian’s death involved something nefarious:
If you don’t go along with the uni-party politics they will k*ll you.

Sounds like he was kidnapped and murdered. Stay strapped everyone.

My guess… no nevermind, not guessing – the Democrat party killed him like they do any other political figure they cannot beat legitimately.

And they say Republicans are violent. Wonder whomever did this took cues from the MSM, The View, Jimmy Kimmel, and the Democrat Party.

If you’re republican and you’re going to run for Office, just know you immediately have a target on your back – especially if you have any real financial backing.
This is how the world is run folks.

This seems off and suspicious. I think it’s possible, just possible, that the Democrats are involved. I wouldn’t put it past them. My prayers are with the family. God bless them during this tragic time

As noted earlier, Christian’s disappearance and death come amid an attempted assassination attempt mainly targeting Trump’s Cabinet members, though also targeting him.
During the White House Correspondents Dinner (WHCD) last Saturday, a shooter identified as Cole Tomas Allen tried running past Secret Service agents and toward the president’s cadre, only to trip and fall, giving the agents the perfect opportunity to stop him.
Allen has since been outed as a schoolteacher and left-wing extremist — surprise, surprise — whose beliefs align perfectly with those of the mainstream Democrat Party and its media allies.
Conservative radio show host Clay Travis has argued that the American people “are lucky this wasn’t far worse,” given that Allen was only stopped because he’d tripped and fell.
Bill is correct about all of this. My exact experience. We are lucky this wasn’t far worse. https://t.co/5w2r0oTdzn
