U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) called for the expulsion of one of her Republican colleagues, telling Rep. Cory Mills to “start packing.”

Mace renewed her criticism of the Florida Republican this week, after having introduced a resolution to censure him in November over allegations of domestic violence and stolen valor. The congresswoman, who has been a vocal advocate for sexual assault survivors, introduced a resolution this week to expel Mills from the House, calling him “a sexual predator” days after a trio of representatives left their congressional seats.

“Congress has serious moral and ethical problems, and McCormick, Gonzales, Mills, and Swalwell are the face of it,” Mace wrote on X, referring to former Reps. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL), Tony Gonzales (R-TX), Eric Swalwell (D-CA), and Mills.

The only acceptable outcome for Cory Mills is expulsion.

“The only acceptable outcome for Cory Mills is expulsion,” Mace wrote in another post, speaking of the resolution to expel him from Congress.

“We didn’t come to Congress to watch people abuse their position of power and get away with it,” she added. “Cory, your days are numbered. Start packing.”

In more posts on X, Mace claimed that Mills was “in a full downward spiral.”

Responding to a post from Daily Beast reporter Rodger Sollenberger claiming Mills threatened an ex-girlfriend with revenge porn, Mace wrote, “Threatening women in this manner means you are a sexual predator. Cory Mills should be behind bars.”

“At some point my colleagues need to decide if they are for or if they are against sexual predators. There is no middle ground here,” she wrote on Wednesday. “You’re either with survivors or you are against them. Pick a side.”

Mills has denied all wrongdoing and responded to reporters pressing him about why he has not resigned in the face of allegations, as other lawmakers have.

“So is everyone on the floor who has a restraining order, even temporary where you don’t get to actually repel against it, should they all leave?” Mills asked.

On Wednesday evening, Mace updated her social media account to announce she would be focused on the burial of her father, Brigadier General James Emory Mace, Sr. But the South Carolina Republican had a special message for Mills.

“To Cory Mills – I am signing off to bury my father tomorrow,” she wrote. “General James E. Mace was never one to pretend. He was a real war hero who died with shrapnel from Vietnam still in his body. He deserves my full attention.”
