No casualties have yet to be reported. Also on Tuesday the<strong> IRGC claimed to have shot down two US Lucas drones <\/strong>over the coastal area of Bandar Khamir.<\/p>\n<figure role=\"group\" class=\"caption caption-img\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/shipst.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"229a3850-061e-4f8e-8094-1be8cee09059\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/shipst.jpg\" width=\"500\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/a><figcaption><a href=\"https:\/\/cms.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/shipst.jpg\">via Reuters<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span>This comes atter the US reportedly struck Iran\u2019s Qeshm Island late Monday, amid broader revelations that the Pentagon has been waging &#8216;limited&#8217; strikes along Iran&#8217;s southern coast for the past weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>American officials have called the overnight Monday assault on Qeshm &#8216;defensive&#8217; and aimed at preventing Tehran from threatening vessels navigating the Strait of Hormuz<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Axios has presented this narrative based on US administration <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BarakRavid\/status\/2117435153848910121\"><span>sources<\/span><\/a><span>: &#8220;<strong>The IRGC fired a missile from Qeshm island at a U.S. aircraft<\/strong> in the strait of Hormuz on monday night.
