Liberal comedian Bill Maher tried to fact-check President Donald Trump\u2019s post-dinner rant, but Kid Rock kept him honest.<\/p>\n

Last month, Maher joined the president for a second dinner alongside Kid Rock and Stephen A. Smith. But while the comedian defended the meeting, Trump wasn\u2019t exactly pleased with him and wrote a long, angry Truth Social<\/a> post that indicates there probably won\u2019t be a third event.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s talk about this COMPLETE AND TOTAL LOSER, Bill Maher. He\u2019s got a Low Rated Show on equally Low Rated HBO, which was once, long ago, a Network of Quality and Excitement \u2014 But that\u2019s all gone. It\u2019s not \u2018HOT\u2019 anymore! Maher\u2019s friend and business associate, Chuck LaBella, was also a friend of mine, worked on The Top Hit Show, The Apprentice, as a \u2018gofer\u2019 and, because of the success of that show, Number One and Top Rated on many weeks, with the Finale\u2019 being among the Top Shows of the Year, he was automatically and quickly brought up through the Ranks of NBC, along with everyone else associated with that Historic \u2018Happening,’\u201d the president wrote on October 25. \u201cThe Success of the Apprentice was so great that everyone partook \u2014 It built many careers, and that is a wonderful thing. Some people say it even built my career, because I became President (I would have won without it!).\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn any event, over the last few years, LaBella would call me nonstop to say, \u2018Hello,\u2019 be very nice, and tell me how much Bill Maher \u2018loves\u2019 and respects me, and would constantly ask of me, even before I was President, for any form of meeting with Maher and, would I do his show? When I became President, I agreed to meet, after the first one, and the last one, but never agreed to do his show, which he wants me to do, DESPERATELY \u2014 It won\u2019t happen! When I have watched the show, which isn\u2019t often, it always ends with dishonesty, about me at least, but, who cares?\u201d he continued. \u201cHe doesn\u2019t think it was a good thing to take the Nuclear Weapon away from Iran, which shows you that he is not very smart. If I allowed them to obtain a Nuclear Weapon, the World would be a different place right now! Using Fake Polls, he also said I had my Lowest Ratings so far, \u2018and even the Republican Party doesn\u2019t like him,\u2019 but that\u2019s not true. I have High Ratings and, more importantly, he said that I\u2019m losing the support and approval of the Republican Party when, in fact, CNN just came out with a Poll showing that I\u2019m at 98 and 99% support within the Republican Party, an All Time Record High.\u201d<\/p>\n

He accused Maher of lying, needing to use a laugh track because he\u2019s not very funny, and being a \u201cmajor POTHEAD.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s got to stop, it\u2019s very bad for his health. He looked like hell this time. Bill was drunk and had alcohol in his hand as he walked through the White House,\u201d the post read.<\/p>\n

Maher attempted to correct the record on Friday\u2019s episode of \u201cReal Time\u201d with Kid Rock, starting with his opinion on the Iran War.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do think he f**ked up the execution of it. Why did he write that I was against it when I can show the tape there?\u201d Maher wondered.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s a pretty busy man. I don\u2019t know if he has time to fact-check,\u201d Kid Rock suggested.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think he\u2019s fact-checking. Plus he said I was drunk. I was not drunk. Okay, I was not noticeably drunk,\u201d the host argued.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou were pretty high! Were you not pretty high?\u201d Kid Rock pointed out.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a good time!\u201d Maher exclaimed.<\/p>\n

He also tried to get Kid Rock to confirm that the meeting was about four hours, not the two that Trump had claimed in his post.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd it was four hours, right?\u201d Maher asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had to leave early, but yes,\u201d Rock said.<\/p>\n

\u201cRight, but he says it was two hours. What\u2019s the point of that?\u201d Maher probed.<\/p>\n

\u201cWas he talking about dinner or the whole thing?\u201d the musician tried to clarify.<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay, it doesn\u2019t matter. Why can\u2019t anyone take a joke?\u201d Maher said before moving on.<\/p>\n
