Sports commentator Stephen A. Smith put a racial spin on the Democratic Party\u2019s preference for open borders, opining that flooding the country with illegal aliens puts black people at a disadvantage.<\/p>\n

The ESPN motormouth dished on politics during a recent episode of his \u201cStraight Shooter With Stephen A.\u201d podcast, blasting Democrats for their failure to address illegal immigration, which he said is a \u201cdirect assault\u201d on blacks, strong words just days before the pivotal midterm elections.<\/p>\n

Stephen A. Smith says he takes Democrats\u2019 open borders as a DIRECT ASSAULT on black people, and he\u2019s done being okay with it.<\/p>\n

This is not a Trump supporter. This is a Kamala Harris voter.<\/p>\n

SMITH: \u201cYou know what the biggest problem with the Democrats is right now? Immigration isn\u2019t even on your list of priorities.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd why is that a problem? Because, ladies and gentlemen\u2026 When you want to open our borders, or when you don\u2019t mind, per se, our borders being flooded, I want to state for the record that I think that it\u2019s a DIRECT ASSAULT against black voters.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I believe that when you have a situation where you have some folks on the left who don\u2019t mind [open borders] at all, what they\u2019re really saying is, we want to dilute the potency of the black vote, because the MORE migrants that cross the border, and the MORE of that base you secure as a voting base, the less you need black people!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI DON\u2019T LIKE THAT!\u201d<\/p>\n

Stephen A. Smith is finally waking up. Democrats don\u2019t want open borders out of compassion. They want to flood in votes and turn all of America into a one-party state like California.<\/p>\n

As @elonmusk once said: \u201cDems won\u2019t deport, because every illegal is a highly likely vote at some point.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you want to open our borders, or when you don\u2019t mind per se our borders being flooded, I want to state for the record that I think that it\u2019s a direct assault against black voters,\u201d the host continued, saying that he is \u201cof the Obama variety\u201d when it comes to illegal immigration, noting that the former Democrat president was ripped as the \u201cdeporter-in-chief\u201d by leftists.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut essentially what he did was focus on criminals, and people with salacious or unsavory behaviors, and those were the people that he was deporting. I don\u2019t want anybody and just anybody being deported,\u201d he said. \u201cPersonally speaking, if you\u2019re a law-abiding citizen paying your taxes and contributing to our society, I hope folks stay here. Migrants stay here.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut you can\u2019t let everybody in, and you certainly can\u2019t have open borders. And I believe that when you have a situation where you have some folks on the left who don\u2019t mind that at all, what they\u2019re really, really saying is we wanna dilute the potency of the black vote,\u201d Smith said, accusing Democrats of harming one of the party\u2019s most loyal voting blocs if the country is flooded by illegals.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause the more migrants that cross the border and the more of that base you secure as a voting base, the less you need black people. I don\u2019t like that,\u201d he declared.<\/p>\n

Smith has been taking friendly fire after he joined HBO\u2019s \u201cmajor pothead\u201d<\/a> host Bill Maher and MAGA icon Kid Rock for a dinner with President Donald J. Trump at the White House.<\/p>\n

Accusing the Democrats of racism isn\u2019t likely to win any hearts and minds with party loyalists, even though there is truth in what he said.<\/p>\n
