Abdul El-Sayed is working hard to convince voters he is a regular guy, but a recent interview exposed his \u201clittle man syndrome\u201d in a big way.<\/p>\n

On a podcast with Hasan Minhaj this week, the Michigan Democratic Senate nominee took cheap shots at Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, even bringing up his mother in an ugly diatribe.<\/p>\n

\u201cPete Hegseth, everybody knows that guy from the locker room,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe would\u2019ve, you know, he would\u2019ve rode the pine. He probably got to start two games his entire career playing whatever sport he was (in), and it made his life. And his parents came and cheered so hard for him,\u201d El-Sayed continued, evidently ignorant of Hegseth\u2019s high school record as an all-state basketball player who later earned two varsity letters in football as a wide receiver.<\/p>\n

Not sure I\u2019ve ever seen so much short man energy from a politician before. He wants so badly for people to think he\u2019s tough, but he\u2019ll always be a manlet. And the harder he tries to hide his short man syndrome, the tinier he looks. It\u2019s hilarious.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd, as a kid whose parents never came, right, and started every game, part of me is just like, bro, I feel bad for you,\u201d El-Sayed continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomebody told you you were a lot better than you really are. Like, there\u2019s something about being a brown kid whose parents, like, you know, no matter what you do, you\u2019re never enough,\u201d he said, adding, \u201cSo what that means is that you never take yourself too seriously. You\u2019re like, I\u2019m never gonna be enough. Right?\u201d<\/p>\n

Poor little victim whose parents never went to his games, but makes fun of a caring mom? He really is a pathetic loser.<\/p>\n

So I\u2019m like, bro, you grew up thinking that you were somehow special, but you are not. And you have been living off that fume for the rest of your life.\u201d<\/p>\n

He is transferring his seething envy of people with loving, supportive parents onto some broad anti-white racial grievance.<\/p>\n

Among the deluge of responses on X, Hegseth\u2019s father, Brian Hegseth, weighed in on El-Sayed\u2019s \u201cLittle man syndrome.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAbdul has no idea what he\u2019s talking about,\u201d the high school basketball coach and proud dad wrote on X.<\/p>\n
