Embattled Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar may have caught a big break in the investigation of her U.S. citizenship.<\/p>\n

A \u201cleftist\u201d federal judge is presiding over a legal battle to unseal the warrant that was used to search Omar\u2019s home.<\/p>\n

In March 2025, the Obama-appointed Judge James Boasberg of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia temporarily blocked the deportation of dangerous Venezuelan gang members. President Trump called him a \u2018Radical Left Lunatic\u2019 at the time, justifiably complaining that it was \u201cvirtually impossible for me to get an Honest Ruling in D.C.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Justice Department is fighting to keep details of the Omar warrant sealed to protect the \u201cintegrity\u201d of the investigation. The New York Times, Judicial Watch, and 14 press organizations made three separate requests to unseal the warrant, according to Fox News.<\/p>\n

\u201cBoasberg ordered the Justice Department to defend its position on keeping the warrant sealed in response to a consolidated request from the Times and 14 press organizations by Oct. 22, but he extended the deadline following a Justice Department request to wait until the search warrant was \u2018fully executed,’\u201d Fox News reported.<\/p>\n

The same Obama-appointed judge Trump called a \u201cRadical Left Lunatic\u201d and wanted impeached, after he blocked deportation flights of alleged Venezuelan gang members is now overseeing the fight to unseal the search warrant on Omar\u2019s home.<\/p>\n

Chief Judge James Boasberg is the one deciding whether the public gets to see the details of the immigration fraud probe.<\/p>\n

Of course he is.<\/p>\n

Immigration attorney Deron Smallcomb, however, argued that the \u201crecord\u201d will decide the outcome in the case, despite Boasberg.<\/p>\n

A warrant fight isn\u2019t a verdict.<\/p>\n

If citizenship rests on false facts in the naturalization paperwork, the remedy is denaturalization under 8 U.S.C. 1451, and the government has to prove it by clear, unequivocal and convincing evidence. No charges have been filed yet. The record\u2026<\/p>\n
