The 9\/11 Memorial at Ground Zero has been sprayed with graffiti, and now a man is facing charges.<\/p>\n

Johnathan Tijerina, 31, was arrested on criminal mischief and graffiti charges in connection with the words spray-painted on the memorial Monday evening.<\/p>\n

Earlier today, the 9\/11 Memorial at Ground Zero in Manhattan was defaced with graffiti.<\/p>\n

I wear on my wrist the names of over a hundred friends and colleagues who lost their lives in the attacks twenty five years ago.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, the site was able to be cleaned and has not sustained any permanent damage from the vandalism.<\/p>\n

Defacing the 9\/11 Memorial is about as low as it gets. Nearly 3,000 people were murdered that day, and some coward with a spray can couldn\u2019t show them basic respect. Find them, charge them, and hand them the scrub brush. Never forget means never.<\/p>\n
