An allegedly fraud-fraught congresswoman has reportedly lawyered up in a big way with a pair of attorneys linked to some of the Democrats\u2019 biggest shams of the past decade.<\/p>\n

In the wake of a friendly media appearance with MS NOW, Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar (D) made a public appearance on Friday in order to cast an early ballot for the midterm election after days of avoiding the limelight.<\/p>\n

While ridicule and suspicion have continued for the Somalia-born lawmaker accused in part of immigration and marriage fraud, the New York Post detailed<\/a> that her defense includes attorneys who previously represented former President Joe Biden and lead lawfare peddlers of the Democratic Party.<\/p>\n

Identifying both Amy Jeffress and Joshua Matz of the Washington, D.C. firm Hecker Fink, the Post said of the former that she \u201cbecame Biden\u2019s personal attorney in 2025, succeeding longtime confidant Bob Bauer.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to representing the president\u2019s use of the autopen, she also acted as counsel for the sham Jan. 6 committee and represented former FBI official Lisa Page, best known for her Russiagate correspondence amid an affair with fellow former FBI official Peter Strzok, which became the subject of the Phelim McAleer stageplay \u201cFBI Lovebirds: UnderCovers\u201d starring Dean Cain and Kristy Swanson.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe other half of Omar\u2019s legal squad is Joshua Matz, also a partner at Hecker Fink, who represented House Democrats during both Trump impeachments and served on the legal team of the House Jan. 6 committee,\u201d detailed the Post, which further indicated that Matz represented various universities in conflict with President Donald Trump\u2019s executive orders against diversity, equity, and inclusion policies.<\/p>\n

Given that Omar claimed she lives \u201cpaycheck to paycheck\u201d in her MS NOW interview \u2014 a claim in line with her amended tax filing following an initially reported net worth around $30 million. It remains unclear who might be footing the bill for her boutique firm attorneys. Omar\u2019s campaign filings reveals no payments to either the firm or the lawyers directly as of the Oct. 15 filing deadline, according to the Post.<\/p>\n

To that end, she did release a video acknowledging the \u201cvery expensive and challenging time,\u201d thanking supporters for chipping in with whatever donations they could, and asking that such contributions continue.<\/p>\n

Speaking at a rally in Florida, President Donald Trump addressed the matter of the foreign-born politician\u2019s identity and said, \u201cI was saddened to hear that Ilhan Omar is not her name \u2026 The one she used to get elected and sworn into Congress, that\u2019s the one that she used for everything, Ilhan Omar. But rather, it\u2019s an entirely different name \u2026 Ilhan Nur Said Elmi.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s close,\u201d joked Trump, who made note that the name matches that of her brother, whom she allegedly married in an act of immigration fraud, before remarking, \u201cSo, when asked whether or not she married her brother, she said, \u2018Not to my knowledge.’\u201d<\/p>\n
