Fox News host Laura Ingraham asked James Carville to put his money where his mouth is on one of his Trump predictions.<\/p>\n

The longtime Dem admittedly suffers from debilitating Trump Derangement Syndrome and has long claimed (wished?) that the president will resign before the end of his second term.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything that he tries blows up in his face,\u201d Carville said in March, speculating that Democrats would sweep the midterms.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m telling you, I think he\u2019s just gonna quit next year by this time. I think he\u2019s just gonna walk away because the Democrats control the House and the Senate. No one\u2019s gonna pay attention to him. The fiscal condition of the country is beyond in the ditch.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Wednesday\u2019s episode of The Ingraham Angle,<\/em> he was asked if he still believes it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do,\u201d he told Ingraham. \u201cBecause he\u2019s an old man and he\u2019s not particularly a hard man. And when he sees what\u2019s gonna happen in this election, and I had this hit me in 1994. I know what this is. Most people don\u2019t. And when these things hit, of course, Clinton was able to survive because he was young; he was brilliant. And he had Newt Gingrich as his foil. He couldn\u2019t do any better than that.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Ingraham challenged him to put money down on his prediction, he deflected.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will put a huge amount on this, that Trump will be out by Easter,\u201d Ingraham said. \u201cFor charity.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t do the predictable thing,\u201d Carville responded. \u201cI like to think to the future. I think he\u2019s gonna get really bored and when you lose one this big, people don\u2019t really pay attention to you.<\/p>\n

Carville also touted the Democrats\u2019 unoriginal plan to \u201csolve\u201d America\u2019s problems \u2026 tax the \u201crich.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\ud83d\udea8\" Carville: \u201cWe\u2019re not Trump, and we\u2019re gonna win.\u201d<\/p>\n

@JamesCarville_ lays out what Democrats would do with power:<\/p>\n
