Oz has been sounding the alarm about multinational \u201corganized criminal syndicates\u201d that are exploiting programs like Medicare and Medicaid.<\/p>\n

He says organized criminal syndicates from around the world are exploiting the programs on a massive scale.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe real problems are organized criminal syndicates that are multinational in scope.\u201d<\/p>\n

During a visit to Fox News several weeks prior, he reiterated these concerns.<\/p>\n

Dr Oz: the bigger concern I have is the Chinese Mafia<\/p>\n

\u201cThe bigger concern I have with the Chinese mafia, they\u2019re in Queens. Some of them go to cash, as you saw in your video, that\u2019s used to pay the bribes to the people who attend these events.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s hard to find a legitimate outfit. You know, there\u2019s a hundred of these things. Most of them are actually breaking the law by paying bribes to pretend they\u2019re giving care to people.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, he took to the streets of\u00a0 New York City where he \u201cdelivered warning letters to Kent Senior Care and Evergreen Adult Day Care in Flushing, Queens, during a broader fraud crackdown that involved the FBI, the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General, the NYPD and other agencies,\u201d according to Fox News Digital,<\/a> which was able to attend the visits with Oz.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe bills are much higher than they should be,\u201d Oz explained to the director at his first stop, Kent Senior Care. \u201cThe billing is for more people. It doesn\u2019t look very crowded here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite arguing that the billing accurately reflected the building\u2019s occupancy, Oz was blunt with the director.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re getting this letter from the U.S. Government because we don\u2019t believe you,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He also pointed out that the facility\u2019s attendance records may not be all that accurate either.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople were just walking in there without signing anything,\u201d Oz noted. \u201cAnd then after I showed up and he saw what we were doing with my team, he started collecting these documents to be signed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFox News Digital also witnessed several seniors enter Kent Senior Care without immediately signing attendance sheets. Additional seniors who arrived later were instructed to sign in,\u201d the outlet reported.<\/p>\n

He also maintained his insistence that organized crime had some involvement with fraud, by \u201coffering seniors money to attend facilities and then billing the government for services that were not actually provided.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe know from the billing here that there\u2019s no way this business is running in the way that they claim to be running without something being wrong,\u201d Oz explained to Fox News Digital. \u201cIs it an innocent mistake? A hundred times in a row, I don\u2019t think so.\u201d<\/p>\n

To be clear, the establishments visited by Oz and Fox News Digital have not been connected with any \u201cChinese mafia\u201d or other criminal organization.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He says the federal government observed a significant spike in billing \u201cacross the industry and claimed that annual spending on the programs had approached $1 billion.\u201d Oz contends that money siphoned from these programs is used to fund other criminal exploits in the region, \u201cincluding money laundering and human trafficking.\u201d<\/p>\n
