President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance have announced a program that would reward tips leading to fraud charges.<\/p>\n

The president\u2019s second term has largely been about tackling illegal immigration and fraud, waste, and other government inefficiencies. To this end, Trump has announced a new program that is offering $30,000 bounties for information leading to fraud charges. For whistleblowers, the reward could include an extra 1% commission for any recovered funds.<\/p>\n

President Trump announced a new federal fraud whistleblower incentive program that he says will pay Americans, including journalists, a 1% commission for reporting fraud and corruption involving taxpayer dollars.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you turn somebody in and you, let\u2019s say, report, and you find $1 billion, we are giving a commission to that person of 1%. It\u2019s a lot of money,\u201d Trump said.<\/p>\n
