Step aside, \u201cfiery but mostly peaceful protests,\u201d CBS News dropped a new shameless spin on radical riots before resorting to deletion.<\/p>\n

Long begrudging the label of fake news, corporate media outlets have had renewed fits in recent weeks following President Donald Trump\u2019s selective ban at the White House, along with other administration policies. Saturday, a member of the fourth estate proved once again how critical Elon Musk\u2019s free speech absolutism on X has been when riots, looting and destruction across France were described as \u201cScuffles.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a since-deleted post, CBS News linked to a report on hundreds of arrests across France, where Limoges\u2019 late 19th-century historic landmark H\u00f4tel de Ville went up in flames, with the caption, \u201cScuffles broke out Saturday in Paris between police and small groups of protesters joining a march as part of nationwide demonstrations against rising living costs and in support of high school students\u2019 grievances.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sharing video of the destructive fire along with the deleted post, Libs of TikTok wrote, \u201cCBS just deleted this tweet calling rioters burning down Paris \u2018scuffles\u2019 after major backlash \u2026 You don\u2019t hate the media enough.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following the deletion of the original post, CBS News created a new caption to link to the story, writing instead,\u00a0\u201cProtests erupt across France against rising living costs and in support of students \u2026 Editor\u2019s note: A previous version of this post didn\u2019t accurately describe the scene.\u201d<\/p>\n

Even with the narrative tweak, the story that spoke of protests attributed to \u201crising living costs and poor conditions in schools\u201d failed to capture the scope of leftist intersectionality hellbent on toppling Western civilization.<\/p>\n

On CNews in France, journalist Paul Amar reported that the rioters \u201ccame prepared. They had the addresses of town halls. They had addresses of Jewish shop owners.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn a street in Marseille, all businesses owned by Jews were set on fire. Businesses run by Muslims weren\u2019t,\u201d he indicated as images showed bearded men raiding high-end stores of goods.<\/p>\n
