Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico is reportedly now enjoying support from at least one member of the Bush family.<\/p>\n

According to the 2026 third-quarter report to the Federal Election Commission for Lone Star Rising PAC, Barbara Bush donated $2,500. While this may not represent a significant amount of money for the campaign, the fact that it is coming from a member of a \u201cprominent political family\u201d is what makes it newsworthy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would imagine that somebody in such a prominent political family, if she wanted to ensure that her contribution was anonymous or not visible, that any number of lawyers that they probably have at their disposal could have told her how,\u201d said central Texas political finance expert Andrew Cates.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe didn\u2019t give it to a [501] (c)(4), in which her contribution would have been completely anonymous. She gave it to a PAC that reports all the money in and out,\u201d he added. \u201cIt\u2019s not like Elon Musk money, obviously, but it is it is interesting and maybe potentially a little bit telling on where the center GOP establishment is leaning and where they feel like the race is headed.\u201d<\/p>\n

X users were shocked to hear the daughter of former President George W. Bush was handing money to a Democratic candidate.<\/p>\n

What happened to the Bush family?<\/p>\n

One of the Bush twins, Barbara, recently donated $2,500 to a Super PAC supporting Democrat James Talarico over Republican Ken Paxton.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a clear sign of where their loyalty really lies.<\/p>\n

I thought George W. Bush liked Texas.<\/p>\n

But it is now obvious that his family\u2019s personal animosity toward Trump and Paxton completely supersedes what is best for the state and the country.<\/p>\n
