President Donald Trump was having fun during a rally in Dalton, Georgia, at the expense of Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic nominee in the 2026 U.S. Senate race in Michigan, who is running against the GOP nominee, Mike Rogers.<\/p>\n

Last week, Trump drew the ire of the left, who blasted him as a racist and an Islamophobe, when he called El-Sayed \u201cMuhammad,\u201d explaining as only he can, \u201cI\u2019m the president. I can call him whatever the hell I want. To me, he\u2019s Mohammed, and he\u2019s a radical jihadist.\u201d<\/p>\n

Continuing that theme Friday night, Trump mocked El-Sayed\u2019s name before revealing the Democrat\u2019s middle name is actually Mohamed \u2014 his full name is Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis name is actually Abduladadalalalala,\u201d the president joked. \u201cIt\u2019s Adulbabababababa Mohamed Al-Sayed. So his middle name is Mohammed. So I was right.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump went on to call El-Sayed \u201ca jihadist,\u201d and accuse him of being a member of the Muslim Brotherhood \u2014 El-Sayed\u2019s half-sister once spoke about her family having long-standing connections to the organization. El-Sayed has denied the accusation.<\/p>\n

As for the name Mohammed, Trump had this to say at the rally: \u201cIf you\u2019re in doubt about somebody\u2019s name from the Middle East, just say Mohammed, you have about a 65% chance\u2026 I\u2019ve done it for years now. I\u2019ve never been wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n
