A new text from the \u201cCornell 7\u201d accuser, \u201cJane Doe,\u201d is being used by a defense team to question her claims that she was incapacitated.<\/p>\n

The message, a simple three-letter response, was sent to Doe\u2019s roommate, who was wondering if she would be back on the night of the alleged assault, according to TMZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you coming home [tonight]?\u201d the roommate asked at 3:05 a.m. on October 20.<\/p>\n

\u201cIdk,\u201d Doe responded shortly after. While the response itself is not revealing any new information, it\u2019s the timing of the message that one of the fraternity brothers\u2019 lawyers believes is critical.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe text exchange occurred somewhere between a half hour and an hour after she says multiple men were snorting ketamine off her body and she was so out of it she couldn\u2019t process what was going on. One of the accused claims the texts show Jane was able to read, process, and respond \u2026 therefore she was not incapacitated,\u201d TMZ reported.<\/p>\n
