Liberal comedian Bill Maher is planning to meet with President Donald Trump again, after being impressed in 2025.<\/p>\n

He faced a wave of backlash for his willingness to sit down with the president in March 2025, and it appears that he is going to do it again.<\/p>\n

The conversation started with Maher dunking on his former friend<\/a> Larry David, who compared his previous meeting with the president to dining with Adolf Hitler<\/a>. At the time of the op-ed, the comedian dismissed the \u201cunhelpful\u201d comparison.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is so childish, so purely emotional \u2014 the people who got all butthurt because I had dinner with [Trump] \u2014 you know, because he\u2019s Hitler. Except he\u2019s not. So unhelpful and dumb. Trump is the most supportive president Israel and the Jews ever had!\u201d Maher said.<\/p>\n

During his latest\u00a0Club Random podcast with guest Ari Emanuel, the host revealed his continued distaste for \u201cpurity\u201d politics and his plans to once again dine with the president.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou should have this conversation with Larry. I would actually because you guys are so similar on so many things,\u201d Emanuel said, as the pair discussed \u201cplaying the Hitler card.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that\u2019s what I hate about the purist left. Purity. It\u2019s the easiest thing to be,\u201d Maher responded. \u201cAnd by the way, you know you\u2019re not a political sophisticate when you immediately go to the Hitler card. That\u2019s just one way. There\u2019s a few others, but yes, purity. I just can\u2019t take it. I can\u2019t. More than anything, I can\u2019t take it. And you and I are on the same page.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I\u2019m having dinner with him next week, by the way,\u201d the liberal revealed.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m having a conversation with him about this rebate that I think needs to happen for California and for the country, and I think it\u2019s going to be a good thing, and he\u2019s on board with it. He called me about it first, and I said to somebody, and it\u2019s true; he\u2019s 80 years old. This guy and I don\u2019t know if you felt it, he\u2019s a workaholic,\u201d Emanuel said of the president.<\/p>\n

Following his first dinner with the president, Maher was forced to disappoint<\/a> the left by revealing that \u201c[a] crazy person doesn\u2019t live in the White House.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cA person who plays a crazy person on TV a lot lives there, which I know is f**ked up, but it\u2019s not as f**ked up as I thought it was,\u201d her admitted, as previously reported by BizPac Review.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs you know, 12 days ago I had dinner with President Trump, a dinner that was set up by my friend Kid Rock. Because we share a belief: That there\u2019s gotta be something better than hurling insults from 3000 miles away,\u201d he explained. \u201cHe laughs, including at himself. It\u2019s not fake. Believe me, as a comedian, I know a fake laugh when I hear one. I thank you for them. I\u2019ve had so many conversations with prominent people who were much less connected. People who don\u2019t look you in the eye, people who don\u2019t really listen. None of that with him.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can hate me for it, but I\u2019m not a liar. Trump was gracious and measured,\u201d he added. \u201cAnd why isn\u2019t that in other settings- I don\u2019t know, and I can\u2019t answer, and it\u2019s not my place to answer. I\u2019m just telling you what I saw, and I wasn\u2019t high.\u201d<\/p>\n
