Marjorie Taylor Greene, who says she is politically homeless after her fallout with the president, praised Democrats and trashed Republicans on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The former Georgia representative visited The Texas Tribune Festival, the same event where Texas Senate candidate James Talarico challenged Ken Paxton<\/a> to a debate moderated by Bret Baier, where she talked about her political evolution from a staunch ally of President Donald Trump to believing MAGA is \u201cdead.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe way I see things right now is, the MAGA movement, and the reason why many of us supported it, was because we were- I was never one of those hardcore Republicans. As a matter of fact, I ran for Congress in 2020, mad at Republicans and wanting to change the party,\u201d she explained. \u201cI always felt like no matter who I voted for, I always got George Bush and got another foreign war. And here we are again, and it was Donald Trump who I had listened to over and over again, campaigned with him all over the country, and had basically believed his words of no more foreign wars, putting America first, which was very important to me as just an average American that grew up in a small business, a family construction business, and raised three children.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo what does the future look like for MAGA right now? I think Trump has lied so much to us and betrayed us so incredibly beyond any of my comprehension. I think MAGA is dead,\u201d she continued, pausing for applause.<\/p>\n

At another point, she praised former Speaker Nancy Pelosi as someone who \u201cgot s**t done\u201d while calling House Speaker Mike Johnson \u201cthe biggest liar in Congress.\u201d<\/p>\n

And if they can\u2019t be truthful and hold [Trump] accountable to his campaign promises that affect the entire country, then they\u2019re liars, and they\u2019re hypocrites and they\u2019re in a cult,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
