New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani reacted to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu\u2019s scathing video on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Netanyahu threatened to \u201ctell the truth about\u201d Mamdani, as well as the \u201cheroic soldiers\u201d protecting Israel, at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The video came after Mamdani acknowledged that his city doesn\u2019t have the legal authority to act on the International Criminal Court\u2019s warrant for the prime minister\u2019s arrest.<\/p>\n

Shame on you for inciting riots against New York Jews,\u201d Netanyahu said. \u201cI\u2019m coming to the U.N. I am going to tell the truth about our heroic soldiers, and I\u2019m going to tell you the truth about you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later that day, Mamdani hit back in a statement that rejected the allegations and once again brought up the 2024 warrant.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe all know that what the prime minister has said in that video is not true. What we do know to actually be the truth when it comes to the prime minister is that he is the subject of an International Criminal Court arrest warrant for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity,\u201d the mayor said. \u201cAnd as the prime minister, he is the architect of horrific genocide against Palestinians. And just a few days ago, his military killed an 11-year-old boy in what is deemed to be a safe zone in Gaza. So that is what I have to say to his video.\u201d<\/p>\n

This is the latest installment in a months-long beef between the two, after Mamdani threatened to pursue all possible legal avenues in an attempt to act on the ICC warrant<\/a>. He was ultimately unsuccessful, but that hasn\u2019t stemmed his hatred.<\/p>\n
