A new poll of Democrat voters shows, among other things, how much they want President Donald Trump out \u201cby (almost) any means necessary.\u201d<\/p>\n

Center for Strategic Politics posted the results of the poll, which was conducted with Liberal Currents, and the results included several notable insights into the left\u2019s political thought process.<\/p>\n

To begin, former Vice President Kamala Harris, former Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and California Governor Gavin Newsom are all top contenders for the party\u2019s 2028 presidential nomination.<\/p>\n

But things got radical pretty fast when it came to potential ways for Trump to leave the White House before the official end of his final term.<\/p>\n

\u201cA plurality of Dems support four of them, including a military coup and death by natural causes. The only one underwater, an assassination, is still supported by 29%,\u201d the organization noted.<\/p>\n

Indeed, support for an impeachment, conviction, and removal received the highest amount of support, with 75% of respondents feeling \u201cvery positive\u201d about that route. Being removed via the 25th Amendment was a close second at 70%, Trump passing away \u201covernight in his sleep\u201d received a shocking 45%, and being removed by a military coup as a means to \u201csafeguard the Constitution\u201d sits at a 43% \u201cvery positive\u201d ranking.<\/p>\n

Another question asked how Democrats broadly view high-profile figures within the party. It\u2019s no surprise that former President Barack Obama received the highest \u201cvery favorable\u201d ranking at 79%, with Buttigieg, the party at large, and Sen. Bernie Sanders trailing distantly behind. Newsom, Anderson Cooper and NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani sit in the middle, while Sen. Chuck Schumer, progressive streamer Hasan Piker and liberal comedian Bill Maher fared the poorest. In fact, Schumer had the highest \u201cvery unfavorable\u201d percentage of all possible options, at 19%.<\/p>\n

And despite championing the media, including the likes of The Washington Post and The New York Times, the poll shows Democrats largely don\u2019t have a strong trust in media outlets.<\/p>\n
