Throughout his second administration and dating back to his first term in the White House, President Donald Trump has made clear the strategic importance that Greenland has for the United States. After extensive naysaying from globalists opposed to the defense of America\u2019s national sovereignty, the negotiator-in-chief announced a deal had been struck with the Kingdom of Denmark granting the U.S. \u201cpermanent control\u201d over the autonomous territory\u2019s security.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am pleased to announce that the United States of America has entered into an Agreement with The Kingdom of Denmark, and Greenland, that gives the United States permanent control over security, and all other needs, in Greenland, completely addressing ALL of our many U.S. concerns. There will be NO COST to the United States!\u201d began a statement from the president who described the deal as having an \u201cInfinite Life\u201d and barring all American adversaries from having a base in Greenland without written approval form the United States.<\/p>\n

Expressing the intention to build up a military presence immediately, Trump added, \u201cThis solution is a great one for the United States of America, Denmark, Greenland, and all of our Allies. We look forward to working with the wonderful people of Denmark and Greenland toward a magnificent future with respect to this large, and highly strategic, parcel of land. We will be very protective of it! This is a dream come true for the United States of America, one that is very important, historic, and special.\u201d<\/p>\n

Likewise touting the arrangement, Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated,\u00a0\u201cThis historic deal is a huge win for the United States and the American people. Thanks to President Trump\u2019s vision and leadership, this historic agreement permanently guarantees U.S. security interests in the Arctic at zero cost to the U.S. taxpayer. Greenland will forever be part of the strategic defense area of North America and exclude any adversary from it and the surrounding area.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis deal permanently and completely addresses our national security concerns in Greenland,\u201d continued the diplomat whom Trump previously contended will \u201cgo down as the best Secretary of State<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Addressing some of the finer points of the deal that prevents military presence from the likes of China and Russia in Greenland, a senior official told<\/a> Fox News Digital that the deal would remain in effect even if Greenland becomes independent from Denmark.<\/p>\n

Contrasting the deal with international issues surrounding the Panama Canal, the official went on to state of strategic vulnerabilities, \u201cWe\u2019re never going to face that in Greenland as a result of this.\u201d<\/p>\n

In her own statement on the deal, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen expressed, \u201cI am glad that we are about to make a great agreement for Greenland, the Kingdom of Denmark, and the United States,\u201d which she said, \u201cstrengthens our common security in the Arctic and the North Atlantic Area and therefore is great for NATO and Europe as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is to the benefit of us all,\u201d said Greenland Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen.<\/p>\n

Ahead of an expected signing ceremony at the United Nations General Assembly taking place in New York City next week, supporter and get-out-the-vote workhorse Scott Presler reacted, \u201cTRUMP GOT GREENLAND \u2026 While democrats laughed in disbelief, President Trump just secured an \u2018Infinite Life\u2019 agreement [with] the Kingdom of Denmark, which gives the US permanent control over security & all other needs.\u201d<\/p>\n
