Outrage is brewing after a young female college lacrosse player was dragged and beaten on camera by a mob of feral, street-racing thugs.<\/p>\n

A group of York College of Pennsylvania students, who included members of the school\u2019s women\u2019s lacrosse team, were sitting outside on their porch minding their business last Friday when a group of non-students began street racing.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the cars street racing smashed into a parked car by the firehouse, which is right next to our house,\u201d one of the students on the porch told local station WPMT<\/a>. \u201cWhen this happened, all of the townies migrated over towards our house and on the grass. We all asked them to move off the property, and that\u2019s when everything erupted.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything erupted\u201d as a woman from the group of non-students approached the students and started a verbal altercation, according to the station.\u00a0The altercation reportedly quickly became physical, prompting the woman\u2019s violent friends to \u201crush\u201d the group of students and attack.<\/p>\n

Some of the altercation was caught on camera (*Graphic content<\/strong>):<\/p>\n

A blonde York College student was ripped off her own porch by the hair, dragged to a stop sign, and beaten while a crowd filmed it for content.<\/p>\n

Her friends called 911 five times.<\/p>\n

Police never showed until the beating was already over.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter the first punch was given, all these girls started to rush us, and that\u2019s where it kind of gets blurry because I think people were coming at me,\u201d one of the attacked students told the station.<\/p>\n

\u201cI turn and see my friend get dragged by her hair down our porch steps and disappear,\u201d the student added. \u201cMy other friend got dragged by her hair.\u201d<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the part that\u2019s triggering the most outrage: It took the students making five 911 calls before the police finally showed up.<\/p>\n

The police have responded to their slow response by saying they were busy dealing with another situation elsewhere.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the time of this call, York City police officers were fully engaged in a previous, ongoing critical incident investigation,\u201d the police told station WGAL<\/a> in a statement.<\/p>\n

The problem was that during the wait, the students who\u2019d been sitting on their porch got completely wrecked by the hooligans outside.<\/p>\n

The attack has caught the attention of University of Maryland Athletics women\u2019s lacrosse coach Brian Reese.<\/p>\n

My thoughts and prayers go out to the members of York Women\u2019s lacrosse team who were attacked in their houses. I\u2019m very surprised this hasn\u2019t been covered more in the media and especially the lacrosse media. Hope they bring the culprits to justice and the victims recover.<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember looking at our friend in the knee brace when I got caught off guard and ripped by my hair off the porch,\u201d one of the attacked students told WPMT. \u201cFrom then, I was dragged to the stop sign and that\u2019s when everyone jumped me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI was getting kicked by probably 12 people at the same time,\u201d the student continued. \u201cAlso at a disadvantage because I was wearing a tube top and had one arm holding my top up while I was getting kicked and punched in my face.\u201d<\/p>\n

The attack was so brutal the student blacked out twice.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first time was when I got kicked very hard in my ribs, and the second time I fully went lights out from a blow to the back of the head,\u201d the student said. \u201cI don\u2019t exactly remember how I got out of it, but I was encircled by probably 30 people by myself getting video recorded while getting punched and kicked from every angle.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the attacked students, a similar incident happened to one of their friends just two weeks ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe told people to get off her porch, someone ran at her and pulled out her hair, and then she called the cops,\u201d they said. \u201cYeah, the girl got arrested, but that was two weeks ago.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, that shows it\u2019s the same group of people who are non-students, and the cops haven\u2019t done anything to protect us, and campus safety hasn\u2019t done anything,\u201d they added.<\/p>\n
