President Trump isn\u2019t giving up on Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Walsh following the interest rate hike.<\/p>\n

The Fed board voted unanimously on Wednesday to raise interest rates from 3.75% to 4.00% despite the president\u2019s threat to stop trade with \u201ccountries with which we have a deficit\u201d if they did.<\/p>\n

Trump had demanded the board lower rates following a strong August jobs report; the president told reporters the move was political.<\/p>\n
