There is one certainty in an election year, and that\u2019s Democrats whipping up their black base into a state of hysteria over modern-day lynchings, a cynical but predictable ploy to mobilize their voters.<\/p>\n

In a letter<\/a> to Attorney General Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel, chronic race baiter Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) and nearly 60 other Democrat lawmakers \u2013 including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) \u2013 demanded that the Justice Department and the FBI launch a \u201cthorough, transparent, and comprehensive federal investigation into the numerous incidents of Black people found hanging across the country.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBlack folks are being found hanged in America,\u201d Pressley proclaimed<\/a>. \u201cThis is a national crisis and we CANNOT stand by while strange fruit hangs from trees across the country. We\u2019re demanding a federal investigation NOW so we can stop modern-day lynchings.\u201d<\/p>\n

The letter referenced a highly dubious report<\/a> from a civil rights activist organization that alleges \u201cmore than 70 modern-day lynchings in the United States between 2000 and 2025\u201d have taken place, although some have noted that the numbers are misleading and that the \u201clynchings\u201d include suicides and homicides.<\/p>\n

AOC proudly touted her participation in a Thursday post to X.<\/p>\n

AOC was fact-checked by an X user note that pointed out: \u201cMost reported 2026 Black hangings were ruled suicides by police\/MEs with no foul play (e.g. Bassinga, Nzita, Jackson). One (Fortune) is a homicide probe pending autopsy, Black POI. None confirmed as lynchings or racial terror,\u201d and provided links to news reports debunking the sensationalist claims of an epidemic of black folks being strung up.<\/p>\n

\u201cInaction by the federal government is tantamount to complicity. This is part of the legacy of racial terror in the United States, and this neglect has long-term consequences,\u201d the letter reads. \u201cNot only are innocent lives lost, but lynching inflicts deep traumatic and psychological wounds on family members, neighbors, and the entire Black community.\u201d<\/p>\n

And of course there is the obligatory reference to Emmett Till, the 14-year-old boy who was an actual lynching victim \u2013 in 1955 Mississippi.<\/p>\n

\u201cCongress enacted the Emmett Till Antilynching Act in 2022 to ensure the DOJ and FBI are empowered to fully investigate suspicious deaths and hold individuals accountable,\u201d the Democrats said. \u201cIt is incumbent upon you to do just that.\u201d<\/p>\n

X users broke out the firehoses on AOC and her fellow racial arsonists by sharing key details that were conveniently left out of the Democratic lawmakers\u2019 letter.<\/p>\n

One prominent conservative influencer pointed out that one of the \u201clynchings\u201d is just another death by black, a REAL epidemic.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis letter demands a thorough, transparent, and comprehensive federal investigation into every hanging death of a Black individual across the United States. At a minimum, each investigation, with permission of the decedents\u2019 families, should include an independent autopsy, an audit of local and state law enforcement investigations, review of physical and testimonial evidence, and a final report submitted to Congress explaining the agency\u2019s findings. The letter also calls for robust data collection that tracks the hanging deaths of Black people in a transparent and systematic manner,\u201d the race-baiting Democrats wrote in their demand letter.<\/p>\n
