Thursday, September 10, 2026, marked the one year anniversary of the senseless death of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk. who was the victim of a political assassination by a man who was in a romantic relationship with a transgender individual.<\/p>\n

Also on Thursday, the Netflix UK & Ireland X account shared images from \u2018The Gentlemen\u2019 Season 2 with the caption referencing a neck injury \u2014 Kirk died after being shot in the neck.<\/p>\n

The post, which is still up, drew widespread scorn for mocking the death of Kirk, the father of two small children. In fact, a Netflix spokesperson called any such criticism \u201cludicrous.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis post directly references a plot point from our U.K. series, \u2018The Gentlemen,\u2019 which launched its second season on Sept. 3. Suggestions that it has any link to sensitive real world events are inaccurate and ludicrous,\u201d the spokesperson said, according to Fox News.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, conservative commentator Matt Walsh led the charge in denouncing the post: \u201cI\u2019m apparently naive because at first I wanted to believe this was not a Charlie Kirk joke. But these \u2018neck injury\u2019 references are a meme among retarded demonic leftists. Way too much of a coincidence that Netflix posts this today of all days. Clear what was intended.
