President Donald Trump is declaring a major ratings win for the GOP midterm convention, where he delivered the keynote speech.<\/p>\n

No doubt, the night was action-packed and full of surprises, with Trump making a controversial promise<\/a> to give every American adult a $5,000 dividend if Republicans keep control of Congress after the midterms.<\/p>\n

Democrat Senator John Fetterman also stunned the crowd with a video appearance where he vowed to \u201cwork with President Trump to defend the steel way of life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI will ALWAYS stand for America, reject the extremes, socialism, and anti-American ways of life,\u201d Fetterman told the approving crowd.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Trump took to Truth Social to declare the convention a resounding success, claiming the rating \u201cbeat the NFL.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Republican Midterm Convention last night, in Dallas, was a major, sold out hit, far bigger, better, and more important than anyone thought possible,\u201d Trump declared. \u201cIt was really something, streaming all over the place, and really big numbers, despite going up against the NFL. The overall numbers beat the NFL.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Arena, which was really nice, beat its own attendance records,\u201d Trump continued. \u201cThe place was packed! There were thousands of people outside who couldn\u2019t get in. Screens were provided. I guess people LOVE TRUMP POLITICS! I\u2019ll be there again tonight to close out the show. Exciting \u201cStuff!\u201d MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!\u201d<\/p>\n
