Three jurors in child-killer Lindsay Clancy\u2019s first trial are now speaking out publicly to attack the lone juror who refused to let her off the hook for brutally strangling her three children to death in 2023.<\/p>\n

Despite it being an acknowledged fact that Clancy killed her three children, millions of women have glommed on to her as some sort of hero on account of her claim that the killings were a result of her alleged postpartum psychosis.<\/p>\n

The three jurors who spoke with Boston station WBTS for an interview Tuesday appeared to also glom on to this narrative. All three expressed anger toward the lone male holdout who\u2019d refused to vote to make Clancy not criminally liable for her children\u2019s murders on account of reasonable doubt.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe admitted he had reasonable doubt,\u201d the jury foreperson, Roni Carlson, recalled. \u201cI started filling out the forms. I was so excited\u2026 And then he said, \u2018But I\u2019m still not gonna say that she\u2019s not guilty by reason of insanity.’\u201d<\/p>\n

The juror probably refused to play along because he knew such a verdict would have allowed Clancy to live in a psychiatric hospital for a few years before being released as a free person.<\/p>\n

To Carlson\u2019s credit, she was at least honest about what Clancy had done:\u00a0 \u201cWe weren\u2019t trying to figure out if she murdered the children. She did, and she\u2019s admitting that.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, despite this admission, Carlson still believed that Clancy had somehow deeply \u201cloved\u201d her kids.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re trying to figure out did she know right from wrong at that time,\u201d she said. \u201cEverything proved that she loved her children, so she had to have snapped.\u201d<\/p>\n

Except the evidence suggests everything was premeditated:<\/p>\n

Another pro-Clancy juror, Paula Devlin, called the lone holdout \u201carrogant.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was very arrogant,\u201d she said. \u201cHe just completely disregarded the information that [nurses on the jury] gave [about the many medications that Clancy had been on].\u201d<\/p>\n

A third juror, Kellie Farina, called out the lone holdout \u201crogue.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not sure if rogue is the right word, but every one of us, in the hours of our frustration, would get up and walk the room, because you just couldn\u2019t sit anymore, and we\u2019d all go to the cart with the exhibits,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe, I think, got up to the cart once, very briefly, and went back to his seat,\u201d she added. \u201cHe would not interact with us or try to understand.\u201d<\/p>\n

In fairness to the lone juror, there was little to understand except that his peers wanted to let a woman who strangled her three children to death off the hook.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe had the hardest time getting off the fact that Lindsay viciously killed her children,\u201d Farina said, giving away the whole game plan.<\/p>\n

A fourth juror who spoke anonymously to Boston station WBZ<\/a> said she believed that the only way to get justice for Clancy\u2019s children and husband was for Clancy to receive the mental help that \u201cshe desperately needed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEventually I just felt like the only way to get justice work for Cora, Dawson, and Callen, and Patrick, and her parents, and everyone else that was closest was to get her the help that she desperately needed,\u201d the juror said.<\/p>\n

This particular statement infuriated conservative commentator Matt Walsh.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s openly admitting she disregarded the law,\u201d he tweeted. \u201cJurors are not supposed to be making decisions based on those kinds of calculations. They were there to judge whether Clancy was guilty or not. Period. Their job was not the ensure the Clancy \u2018gets the help she needs.\u2019 What a farce.\u201d<\/p>\n

The juror here says she went into deliberations thinking Clancy was guilty but switched to not guilty because it was \u201cthe only way Lindsay would get the help she needs.\u201d She\u2019s openly admitting she disregarded the law.
