After years of disastrous far-left liberal rule, Germany is finally headed back toward the sane right thanks to Sunday\u2019s elections.<\/p>\n

The elections saw the rise of the Alternative f\u00fcr Deutschland (AfD), a right-wing political party that bears strong similarities to the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement in the United States.<\/p>\n

AfD won 44 percent of the vote on Sunday, giving it enough power to lead but not enough for \u201can absolute majority,\u00a0meaning it must either find a coalition partner or try to rule from a minority position,\u201d according to CNN<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Despite performing so well, AfD is considered by many in the corrupt establishment to be an \u201cextremist\u201d party:<\/p>\n

Just speaking mathematically, if a party gets \u201cat least 44% of the vote\u201d, in a multi-party race where the second place only got 17%, do you still get to call them \u201cfar-right\u201d?<\/p>\n

The catch is that the type of people who view AfD as \u201cextreme\u201d are the same who celebrate the late Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk\u2019s death and who wish the same fate on billionaire right-winger Elon Musk.<\/p>\n

Musk, an American, has been a staunch supporter of AfD.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think you really are the best hope for Germany,\u201d he said while speaking virtually at an AfD rally in early 2025.<\/p>\n

Following AfD\u2019s victory on Sunday, Musk posted a tweet congratulating AfD co-leader Alice Weidel on the victory, writing \u201cwell done\u201d in German.<\/p>\n

Ulrich Siegmund, the AfD\u2019s lead candidate in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, responded by thanking Musk for all his support.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you, @elonmusk , for your support and for your clear and highly important perspective on the political developments of our time \u2014 including here in Germany,\u201d Siegmund wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we take responsibility here, I would very much welcome the opportunity for strong and constructive cooperation. Germany would once again be a place worth investing in,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

AfD also appears to have the support of the Trump administration.<\/p>\n

After Germany\u2019s currently leftist government called AfD an \u201cextremist\u201d group last year, U.S. Vice President JD Vance and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio both ripped into the establishment regime.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that it is very, very dangerous to use the neutral institutions of state \u2014 the military, the police forces \u2026 the intel services \u2014 to try to delegitimize another competing political party,\u201d Vance said in an interview while in Rome, as reported by NBC News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that\u2019s especially true when that political party just got second in an election and is, depending on which poll you believe, either the [most] popular or the second-most popular party,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Rubio similarly used social media to call the German government\u2019s move an act of \u201ctyranny in disguise.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Sen. Tom Cotton reportedly asked then-Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard to stop sharing intelligence with Germany\u2019s domestic intelligence agency until the nation\u2019s leftist government started treating AfD as a \u201clegitimate opposition party.\u201d<\/p>\n

Also, top State Department official Samuel Samson penned a Substack post slamming the German government for having \u201cestablished elaborate systems to monitor and censor online speech under the guise of combating disinformation and preventing offense.\u201d<\/p>\n

He zeroed in especially hard on the German government\u2019s decision to smear AfD as \u201cextremist.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAmericans are familiar with these tactics,\u201d he wrote. \u201cIndeed, a similar strategy of censorship, demonization, and bureaucratic weaponization was utilized against President Trump and his supporters.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat this reveals is that the global liberal project is not enabling the flourishing of democracy,\u201d he added. \u201cRather, it is trampling democracy, and Western heritage along with it, in the name of a decadent governing class afraid of its own people.\u201d<\/p>\n
