A federal judge dismissed a DOJ lawsuit against California seeking to protect females in women\u2019s sports.<\/p>\n

U.S. District Judge Cynthia Valenzuela shut down the DOJ\u2019s case on Monday, prompting a swift response from the Trump administration, stating it is reviewing an appeal.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are disappointed by the Court\u2019s order and remain committed to enforcing President Trump\u2019s agenda of preventing boys from playing in girls\u2019 sports,\u201d a DOJ spokesperson stated following the decision, Fox News reported.<\/p>\n

Valenzuela based her decision on \u201cadministrative funding rules,\u201d ignoring the purpose of the lawsuit, which is to keep biological males out of female sports.<\/p>\n

Federal judge, Cynthia Valenzuela, dismissed the lawsuit brought by the DOJ against California for allowing trans in girls sports, which they have done since 2013. The controversy over biological males competing in girls\u2019 sports heated up in California after AB Hernandez, a trans athlete, dominated in 2025 and 2026 CIF State Track & Field Championships. Hernandez \u201cwon\u201d four state titles, prompting CIF \u201cto create duplicate medals for female athletes pushed down the podium,\u201d Fox reported.<\/p>\n

The ruling sparked more anger at activist judges:<\/p>\n
