Popular podcaster Joe Rogan tore into murder suspect Lindsay Clancy\u2019s supporters during the Tuesday episode of his show.<\/p>\n

Despite it being an acknowledged fact that Clancy killed her three children, millions of women have glommed on to her as some sort of hero on account of her claim that the killings were a result of her alleged postpartum psychosis.<\/p>\n

However, many men and women have pushed back hard on this narrative, arguing that her possible psychosis \u2014 some have suggested she faked it \u2014 wasn\u2019t a valid excuse for the evil actions she committed. Rogan joined this chorus on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis lady killed her kids and everyone\u2019s like, \u2018Oh my God, she needed help,’\u201d he said, frustrated. \u201cImagine if a single father killed his kids. Do you think there\u2019d be any dads out there? \u2018We get it. We understand. I also get sad!’\u201d<\/p>\n

Rogan also made the case that Clancy\u2019s supporters might possibly feel differently about the case if they were forced to look into the eyes of her three deceased children.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf those ladies could see the crime scene and see those dead kids with their f\u2013king vacant eyes staring up because their mother took their life, the last f\u2013king thing that they saw was their mother standing over them, choking them to death, I don\u2019t think they would feel so bad,\u201d he argued.<\/p>\n

Rogan continued by accusing everybody of being out of their mind.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople are out of their f\u2013king mind right now, she\u2019s out of her f\u2013king mind, the world is out of its f\u2013king mind,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s like more of these things come up where you\u2019re like, \u2018This can\u2019t be real. This can\u2019t be real.\u2019 And it is real.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMore of these things where, like, people are showing up in support of a woman who killed her children. I don\u2019t care how rough it was. The ability to kill your children is crazy,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Rogan at one point also drew attention to the rapid radicalization of certain people, particularly lonely, single, childless liberal women.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to generalize, but it seems like it\u2019s Republicans too, but it\u2019s a lot of liberal women,\u201d he argued. \u201cLiberal women with no children want to turn the world into their children. They want to, like, scold the world like they\u2019re doing the wrong thing, and they\u2019re worried about the environment.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd they\u2019re worried about the future. And they\u2019re worried about voting. And they\u2019re worried about rights. And they\u2019re worried about immigrants. They\u2019re worried about this, and they\u2019re worried about that. They\u2019re taking care of the world like it\u2019s the child that they don\u2019t have,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

Responding to Rogan\u2019s remarks, Dr. Josef Witt-Doerring, a board-certified psychiatrist, told Fox News<\/a> that he \u201cis right.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRogan is right about one thing: People can turn cases like this into teams,\u201d Witt-Doerring said. \u201cThat is not healthy. Lindsay Clancy should not be treated like a hero or celebrity. Three children died. And some of the TikTok commentary around this case is just dumb.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople are defending her for reasons that have nothing to do with the evidence or acting as if her husband must somehow be the real villain,\u201d he added. \u201cThat is ignorant and deplorable. It reminds me of the Luigi Mangione case, where people rushed to turn someone into a symbol before they even understood the facts.\u201d<\/p>\n
