President Donald Trump is serious about the trade war with Canada, making his stance clear on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The president took to Truth Social to blast America\u2019s neighbor to the north, accusing them of \u201cripping us off for decades,\u201d and saying his tariffs are finally making things right.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I announced that I was running in the 2024 Presidential Election, right at the beginning, Ford was getting ready to close their Big Factory, in Detroit. Then, because I was leading in the Polls, they figured they would leave it open a little longer to see what happened. Now it\u2019s running 24\/7, and it\u2019s one of the most profitable Car Plants in the World!\u201d Trump wrote. \u201cThere are many other examples, for both Ford, General Motors, and others. I\u2019ve revived, and indeed saved, the Automobile Business in our America. That\u2019s because of what I\u2019ve done with TARIFFS. One of the Worst Abusers is Canada.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want Canadian cars, I don\u2019t want Canadian parts, I don\u2019t want Canadian anything. They\u2019ve been ripping us off for decades, and it\u2019s going to stop. This should have happened long ago with other Presidents, just as stopping Iran should have happened long ago. They want to be treated like a State, but they aren\u2019t one. I deal with the Leadership of many Countries, but I find Canada to be the worst. They are entitled no longer!\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

He also suggested that Canadian businesses interested in continuing to do business with the United States should consider moving to avoid tariffs.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cLet all Canadian Companies that are doing business with America move to the United States, immediately. Many of them are Companies that moved out years ago due to stupid U.S. Leadership. When you move back, there are no TARIFFS!\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

A third post several hours later claims the US has lost \u201cmore than 60 Billion Dollars a year with Canada,\u201d with trade conditions favoring the northern country.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cFor many years, the USA has been losing more than 60 Billion Dollars a year with Canada. Why??? Our long ago stolen businesses are now coming back to America in order to avoid paying tariffs. They are lining up, just like the rest of the World!!!\u201d Trump declared.<\/p>\n

He also addressed the escalating feud during a Fox News interview with Trey Gowdy.<\/p>\n
